I plant trees. A lot of them. Not as a hobby but as a deliberate commitment to nullify every bit of carbon my existence leaves behind. It is not a gesture toward nature. It is my responsibility to preserve it for the generations and the progress that comes after us.

I like to stargaze. The ginormous sky, infinite stars and an endless space have a way of making me question how significant we really are on a universal scale. And then I remember importance is entirely subjective. Which somehow makes everything both smaller and meaningful at once.
